A Brand New Failure
Cool, I’ve just started this blog, and guess what I got in the mail.
It’s a letter from a publishing house!
I sent them the first chapters of my latest book.
Let’s open it, shall we and see what it says.
Hmmm… there’s not much text. And I don’t see a contract… Or a big fat check…
Here’s what it says:
“Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your book idea, but we do not find it suited to our present needs.”
That’s it. Short and to the point.
Oh well. It’s better than saying, “Let’s just be friends.”
